EcoTrapIn (patent applied) waterless urinal environment friendly (green) sanitation technology is awarded under PRISM (Promoting Innovations In Individuals, Start-Ups and MSMEs) scheme, aim at to recognise disruptive innovations which will enable to achieve the agenda of inclusive development. The product saves 1,67,900 litre of potable water per urinal per year which enhances hygiene and makes restroom dry germ free. It’s retrofit innovative design converts conventional urinal into waterless urinal thus has no shifting cost. Government Department of Scientific and Industrial Research recognise the need of hour technology, to benefit people and society at large. The support of PRISM scheme helped in development of EcoTrapInXtra, an advanced 3rd version.

World Water Day – Essar Talk

United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) international observations on water designated 22nd March 1993 as first World Water Day. Since then it’s been celebrated annually to focus on potable global water issues. Climate change is a pressing issue and affecting potable water reservoirs. Essar Group hosted a talk with Neha Bagoria, Founder of Tapu Sustainable Solutions to emphasise on global water crisis, rainwater harvesting, clean energy, grey water recycling, waterless toilet, water pollution etc. The interactive chat with twitter users for saving water on daily basis is a good start towards conservation and sustainability.
